Open face? Three finger bridge? Hunter’s case? Railroad grade? Jewels? Welcome to the world of pocket watches. Collecting pocket watches can be very confusing if you don’t have the information or knowledge of where to begin. We have Collector Starting Sets. Each set contains four watches for $440.00.We will provide information on what makes a watch collectible and what the different terms mean. We have pictures and a short video of a Dealer explaining each watch in a set. There is also more information on our iAntique website. We also have three sets of watches for the Intermediate Collector. These sell for $660.00 a set. Again we have information explaining each watch in the set. This is the second time we have had watch sets available. We started with six sets before. It took about three months before an interested Buyer from Israel discovered our website and made it a point to stop in the Brass Armadillo to check out our watches. He bought several thousand dollars’ worth of watches from our Dealer. Our Dealer spent many hours with the Buyer explaining how the watches work and the various terms involved. News of how pleased the Buyer was spread and in the next few months all of the original sets sold to Buyers all over the world, including the US.This program has proved to be very successful, by having a Dealer willing to work with Buyers, demonstrating his knowledge, showing a great deal of trustworthiness, and educating a new generation of Buyers. This is a way to help a Dealer when sales seem to be down by taking steps to discuss ideas, how to repackage items, and ways to make merchandise more appealing to a younger generation.

Fascinating, is the word I would use to describe my adventures in the antique business over the last two years.  It has been a time of growth, both intellectually and economically.  I've been capativated by the way technological evolution has changed the landscape of our business before my very eyes.   I am excited to see younger enthusiasts and collectors picking up from where the last generation left off.   There isn't a day that goes by where I don't hear some piece of exciting news about our industry.

The New Mobile Listing App

I am so excited for the new listing app, like a kid waiting for Christmas. I believe the iAntique classifieds is the most aggressive marketing tool that Brass Armadillo has developed for its dealers and the antique industry at large. This mobile app will allow the dealer to have an item up for sale as soon as they acquire it. Never before have dealers had a chance cultivate such a customer following by combining the world's internet population with the strong high traffic locations of The Brass Armadillo Antique Malls.

Daniel Briddle One of our strong points is getting keywords and tags placed into the search engines quickly and ranked well. We work to try to keep the listings fresh and appearing new.
