There is a frenzy going on amongst the Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall venders this week....and as well there should be!   We had more great success with the Classified Listing Program within the Mall.  It brought in some really great sales and got multiple venders excited about getting their own items posted and up on the internet.   Back in May of 2012 a couple of venders came to me and asked me to post an item that they had stored in one of our back rooms.  The item was too large for them to display in their space in the Mall, but depite its size and "unique vibe", we knew that the item would make the right buyer a happy camper....if we could only find them, or better yet, help them find us!     This 1920's antique medical exam table is oak with all the fixings:  2 sets of stir-ups, the original leather, height & foot adjustments,  blood pan and 4 pass through drawers.   The item was originally listed on May 2, 2012 and reposted approximately every 60 days with no success in finding a buyer for this unique item. But just after reposting it at the end of September, a couple of gentlemen came into the Mall and asked us to pull the table out of storage.  They looked it over and happily took it home with them on Wednesday of this last week.    As if this weren't already a great enough story.....    Shortly after I was asked to post the medical exam table, the same set of venders asked if I could come out to their shop and storage unit and list some additional  items that they wanted to sell.  Due to the collectability, rarity & value of the items, I happily obliged.  Again, I continued to repost the items as they expired and just this last Tuesday, after reposting it just two days before, we received a call from an interested buyer for this beautiful quarter sawn oak Early Murphy Bed with desk and beveled mirror.     People, I have seen this happen time and time again.  I'll list an item and nothing happens, but then I'll repost it and we make a connection.  It's all a matter of finding that one person and what better way to do that than by listing your items and being persistent.        Amie Martin Social Networking Coordinator Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall

SOLD!!  What a good reminder to us all to do our internet listings!  This piece was listed in April and sold to an interior design firm in Beverly Hills at $1625 recently. The buyer found it on a google search & the listing was the one in the iantique classifieds.   Another recent great sale made due to internet listings is this beautiful Moses Frances Fretwork.  This piece was brought into the Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall back in April 2012 and immediately listed in the Classifieds.  Since then, this piece was discovered by a couple traveling across country.  They found it listed online during their travels and they changed their route to stop by the Mall!   Both of these incredible sales were made soley due to the use of the internet & Social Networking tools that we have available and I assure you that these are only some of the biggest sales made.  If your not using these tools and listing your items online, I would like to strongly advise you to do so.  Listing your items for sale online pays.   Blog Written by: Amie Martin Social Networking Coordinator Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall

Recently we've touched on some wonderful sales that were made due to use of the Classified Listings.  I think that it is pretty obvious that putting in the time to get your items on the internet and out there for the world to see is important.  But what is the value of having items listed online?   Last weekend at the Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall, we experienced a busier than normal weekend.  Of course, this is a wonderful thing, but it makes a person stop and question why?  We were not running any sales or promotions last weekend, but in talking with some of the customers coming through the Mall, we made another significant discovery.    Last weekend, September 14-16, The 45th Annual Denver Gem and Mineral Show took place.  Now you may be asking what this has to do with increased traffic and sales at the Mall.  Well, I'd like to tell you that once again, the use of Classified Listings paid off for us.  Not only did we have people visiting the Mall that already knew about us and that try to make a point of visiting us when they are in town for events such as the Gem and Mineral Show, but I'm sure that we brought in NEW customers.    Every item that you list online, if done properly, can be brought up in a Google search and this adds GREAT value to having items listed online!  So, while people visiting from out of town for one event in search of something to fill an open evening, or perhaps in search of a particular item or type of item can locate you, your items and your location online.  And, though they may only come in for one particular item, you may find them buying additional items once they arrive.  And I'm sure that this is what happened last weekend at the Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall.
