    • On Saturday Ski & I hosted an apprasal event at the Brass Armadillo in Denver that was streamed live over iantique.com. It lasted more than 4 hours, and if you didn't see it you wouldn't have believed it! We appraised more interesting stuff than you see on a typical Antiques Roadshow (and, of course there they have scores of experts viewing thousands of items). Some of the highlights were: 2 Native American stone carved pipes from the Pacific Northwest valued @ $75,000 & $25,000 each; a Bernard Buffet oil valued at $50-75,000; & an English land grant document dated 1714, relating to the North American colonies. We had every conceivable category represented. We're going to hold an Appraisal Day once every 2 months at the Mall, and will continue to stream them. If you're in the area, drop on in. If you're not, be sure to watch on this site. Gary

    • Sounds interesting. Also saw that their buyers premium was 18%. Hope that doesn't catch on around here.
