I spent several hours yesterday walking through the aisles of the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall in Denver looking for repurposed and ready for repurposing antique & vintage items, and I found well over 100. In Sunday evening's show I'll share some of these interesting finds with you, and I think you'll see there's something to suit everyone, no matter your individual taste. I particularly like the metal industrial items, but there were great examples of how dealers have concocted lamps from vintage materials, tables from broken down antiques, used throw-away remnants to create interesting displays. I've come to believe that you're limited only by your own imagination. You won't believe how one dealer has used antique water pumps to fashion bird feeders! (That's my favorite.) February is Vintage Decorating, Design and Repurposing Month at the Brass, and management has offered prizes for the best repurposed pieces. Join us & decide for yourselves what you think should win the prizes.
