The Look of the 1920's - Antiques with Gary Stover

We think of the 1920's as the era of Art Deco, and even though the Paris exhibition was in 1925, Deco was late coming to America. Still, by the end of the decade Art Deco had become the foremost design element here in the U.S. So, in this week's program I'll be finding items in the Mall that have the Deco look, some of which may actually be from the '30's, but also we'll examine a few that are from the early part of the decade, before Art Deco had taken hold.
