T'was the Day After Christmas

  • T'was the day after Christmas, And all through the store, Customers were stirring, Looking for more! Who woud'a thunk it? It's the day after Christmas, and the Mall (and the parking lot!) is crowded. When I walked in and saw this, I thought we should do a show on this phenomenon, which is becoming more pronounced every year. So, I walked thru the Mall on December 26, asking customers why they didn't get enough shopping out of their systems before Christmas, and I asked vendors how they did during this Christmas season, and I asked employees what they saw come acros the counters and how the mood of the buyers has been. This isn't a scientific survey, but I hope it provides some insight into what the public is thinking about when it comes to shopping. It seems to me that the Christmas buying season is becoming more compressed before Christmas every year. People wait til the last minute. The line of people waiting to pay on the 23rd and 24th was longer than I've ever seen. So, please join us at the usual time on Sunday evening, December 28, 2014 5PM PST, 6PM MST, 7PM CST, 8PM EST to see what everyone was saying. Oh, and I promise never to write poems in a blog ever again! Gary
