Cartier Exhibition

It’s always fun and inspiring to spend a few hours enjoying the works of master artists and designers of the past, whether it’s furniture, crystal, paintings, or vintage jewelry.   Those who are gifted with foresight and extraordinary talent have made their mark in history and allow us to enjoy their wonderful creations. There is an exhibit of exquisite jewelry, tiaras, timepieces, Art Deco items, and other incredible objects at The Denver Art Museum, Denver, Colorado, now through March 17, 2015.  This exhibition showcases the incredible artistry of three brothers named Cartier which were made between the years 1900 and 1975.   Most of us could not afford the incredible and ostentatious array of fine jewelry made by the Cartier family, but it is so worthy of seeing with your own eyes.   Their artistry and selections of the most beautiful gemstones in the world are just as impressive to see as grand estates, castles, and other architectural wonders of the world.  How did all this come about?   The Cartier family, as well as other famous jewelers, were able to have such great success at a time in history where extraordinary amounts of money were available to the elite of the world.  It was a time of extravagance and unlimited wealth.   With today’s economic upheavals, the excesses of the past are just that – something in the past.   It was a great time in history, unlikely to be repeated again.  Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to see a magnificent collection of jewels.  It's advisable to  purchase tickets in advance.
